Nice cargo net.

Its nice and holds down gear well, but I always use tie down straps over it so not sure how well it would work without straps, but it does keep all the little stuff from shifting around. Have used it on 2000 miles of road trips so far this summer and it’s held up great. The tips of the hooks have a tendency to break, but it will still hold. I use mine on a Rhino Rack Xtray.

Great and cheap cargo tie down for a roof basket

This was about $15 worth of awesome. We drive a KIA Soul with a Rola brand roof basket. It clips on perfectly and fits great. The mesh area seems to be of high quality. The plastic clips are sturdy for now but I’ve already snapped the very tips off of a few clips that were attached to the thicker bars on our roof basket. This mesh cargo tie down has been on 5 camping trips so far. Usually we carry a 20gal plastic bin, a tent, sleeping bags, a large duffel, and camp furniture in the roof basket and this thing handles it all. Highways, bumpy roads, no problems, no issues. This thing tangles easily but I guess that that’s the nature of the beast. I do wish that the outer edges of the net and clips were in a different color so it would be easier to untangle when it happens.

First class liners

Good net but I am not fond of the oversized ‘hooks’. And gadzooks… they gave me I think 45 of them. Do the math on that versus the picture of the net and you will see you need less than that if you use one hook per square on the net. So they certainly aren’t being stingy there. I just wish the hooks worked better. In fairness, many nets from many brands use the same crummy hooks, leaving it to you to source something different as a separate purchase.

Clips are CRAP!

This net fits our Rhino Rack great, the problem is the clips break WAY too easy. Used it on a few trips so far and have 5 broken clips. (I am VERY careful when removing and it never fails that the tip breaks right off.) I should have listened to the 1 star reviews that state this.. Not sure how so many are so happy with this?!? Maybe if the clips were better or they gave you a bag of extra clips, I’d suggest this..

Value and quality combined

This is the cargo net to snag if you have a cargo basket made to fit a sedan or coupe. After you master untangling it, you’ll marvel like I did at how sturdy the cords are and how firmly the plastic hooks grip to round bars on your rack. In the photos you’ll see how it looks untangled and laid out flag and also a test fitting with no cargo on my roof rack. Would trust this with my gear. Vehicle: 2015 Subaru WRX. Rack: Rage Powesports with “X” panels on side.

So far so good!

Purchased this cargo net to go with my roof basket for a camping trip. So far so good, nothing flew off my rack and keeps cargo nice and secure. Hooks are nice and sturdy, however I haven’t had to really test their limits yet. I’ll use this item a handful of times a year; for the price you pay and the quality of the product: its great. It also looks really cool! Just a tip, this item (like all cargo nets) tangles VERY easily. I recommend as soon as you initially untangle it from the packaging to hang it up on a wall in the garage or something to keep it from getting jumbled up.
